Schwander Polska is a Polish biotechnology company developing state-of-the-art technologies for water and wastewater management. For over 14 years, it has specialised in the design and implementation of systems based on membrane bioreactor (MBR) technology, carrying out comprehensive projects for municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants.
The company develops technologies that meet the requirements of the EU Directive on the fourth stage of wastewater treatment, including solutions for the removal of micropollutants. At the same time, it is working on the recovery of raw materials from sewage sludge using the hydrothermal carbonisation (HTC) process.
Another key area of Schwander Polska’s operations is the production of MFM membrane modules. The fact that the company has been selected by Alfa Laval, the Swedish leader in this technology, to further develop and supply this solution is a testament to its technical expertise and many years of experience in the field of membrane technology.
