Artificial intelligence in support of toolmaking, modern solutions for mould makers and processors, and the economic situation of the industry—these topics dominated discussions among exhibitors and visitors at the 8th edition of the International Cooperative Trade Fair for the Tooling and Processing Industry INNOFORM®.

The event, held on March 3–5 at the Bydgoszcz Trade Fair and Exhibition Center, attracted specialists and users interested in modern technologies for the tooling and processing sector.

Presentations of New Products

For this year’s edition of the INNOFORM® Trade Fair, exhibitors prepared a range of new solutions that attracted strong interest from visitors. At the stands, attendees could explore the operation of injection molding machines, offers of injection molds and components for their construction, tool steels, and dedicated software solutions.

Also on display were, among others, plastic granulates and regranulates, robotic production and packaging stations, industrial services, as well as health and safety (HSE) products and equipment for industrial facilities. Visitors could find everything necessary for the operation of a modern tool shop or processing plant.

Extensive Trade Fair Program

The organizers ensured that visitors could not only meet, talk, exchange experiences, and explore the offers presented at the stands, but also take part in conferences addressing issues that are or will soon become important for the tooling and processing industry.

The program opened with the conference “INNOvations in Good FORM – faster, cheaper, more efficient.” Invited experts discussed how artificial intelligence can support toolmakers in their work, whether a cheaper mold always means lower costs, and how to optimize production and energy consumption.

On the second day of the fair, the second edition of TECHNOFORUM took place. During panel discussions, topics such as the economic situation of the industry and its level of innovation were addressed. Participants also sought answers to the question of how to select an injection molding machine for processing regranulate.

Recycled Products in the Spotlight

Recycling is an important issue, inseparably linked to plastics processing. That is why, once again, the INNOFORM® Trade Fair was accompanied by the exhibition “ECO POLYMERS – the second life of plastics.”

In a specially designed space, everyday products made from recycled materials were presented. Visitors could see, among others, cleaning sets, brooms, flower pots, garden edging, parking grids, and other items made from regranulates.

Education of Future Industry Professionals

On the third day, the INNOFORM® Trade Fair was visited by students from schools in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian region, as well as students from the Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology. Their visit provided an opportunity to see machines and tools firsthand and to become familiar with the practical foundations of tool manufacturing and plastics processing.

The Education Day was also an opportunity to present the activities of the Sectoral Skills Center, established in Bydgoszcz to train professionals for the tooling and processing industry.

The organizers would like to thank all exhibitors and visitors for participating in this year’s INNOFORM® Trade Fair. A detailed summary and report will be published soon on the website www.innoform.pl.
