As a partner of the MAT4EU project, we are pleased to invite entrepreneurs, SMEs, innovators and all interested stakeholders to participate in the Local Info Day, which will take place on 11 June 2026 at 13:00 during the General Assembly Meeting.
The event will provide an opportunity to learn more about the MAT4EU Open Call – a European funding programme designed to support manufacturing SMEs in developing innovative solutions based on advanced materials.
Who is MAT4EU for?
MAT4EU targets companies operating across strategic industrial sectors, including:
- Mobility and transportation,
- Renewable energy,
- Construction,
- Aerospace and defence,
- Agri-food packaging,
- Healthcare.
The programme aims to foster the development of innovative, sustainable and competitive solutions that strengthen the resilience and technological autonomy of European industry.
Available Funding Opportunities
The Open Call is open until 6 July 2026 at 17:00 CEST.
Strand 1 – Product Innovations Supporting European Autonomy (Development and Innovation)
- Minimum project budget: €80,000
- Fixed grant: €60,000
- Funding rate: up to 75% of eligible costs
Strand 2 – Mastering Green and Digital Transformation (Industrial Adoption)
- Minimum project budget: €45,000
- Fixed grant: €33,750
- Funding rate: up to 75% of eligible costs
Please note that a minimum 25% private co-financing contribution is mandatory for both funding strands.
More Than Funding
In addition to financial support, selected SMEs will gain access to a comprehensive package of business development services, including:
- Personalised mentoring from industry experts,
- Training and capacity-building activities,
- Internationalisation support,
- Networking and integration opportunities within the European innovation ecosystem.
Attend the Local Info Day
During the event, participants will receive detailed information about the Open Call, eligibility requirements, evaluation criteria and the application process. The session will also provide an opportunity to discuss project ideas and ask questions directly to the organisers.
