On May 8th and 9th, 2025, we officially closed the INDUSAC chapter with two meaningful events in Vienna — our final consortium meeting and a workshop during the EIT Manufacturing Day.

It was a fitting conclusion to three years of collaboration, innovation, and shared learning. The two days were filled with conversations, insights from the field, and a sense of pride in what we’ve achieved together.

May 8 – Consortium Meeting

We began with a full-day meeting hosted by EIT Manufacturing, gathering all project partners around one table for the last time.

There were presentations, yes — but more importantly, there were open reflections. We looked at:

  • The measurable impact of the INDUSAC co-creation model,
  • Lessons learned from our pilot rounds,
  • Concrete ideas for sustaining the platform beyond the project.

The atmosphere was emotional at times. After all, this was more than a project, it was a collaborative journey that brought together people, perspectives, and purpose.

May 9 – INDUSAC Final Event during EIT Manufacturing Day

The next day, we took INDUSAC to a broader audience during the EIT Manufacturing Day.

Our workshop, „Future-proofing Industry-Academia collaboration: insights from the INDUSAC project”, showcased how the INDUSAC model has enabled real-life collaboration between companies, students, and researchers.

We featured:

  • Partner presentations highlighting the core approach and results,
  • First-hand stories from student teams and companies,
  • A panel discussion with academic and industry experts,
  • And plenty of informal networking and discussion.

The feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Multiple attendees told us they see real potential for this model in future European projects. We couldn’t agree more.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to INDUSAC — in ideas, time, and spirit. It’s been a privilege.
