The aim of the project entitled “Functional tool surfaces with smooth diamond-based tool Coatings for the wear-free forming of aluminum sheets” with the acronym DiAlForm is to develop a technology for the production and operation of functional tool surfaces coated with smooth diamond coatings for shaping aluminum alloy sheets.
