Bydgoszcz has been the industrial centre of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship region in Poland over the last years. The local economy is based on industries such as tools, plastics processing, electro-machinery, transport, arms and aviation, furniture and agriculture. The industry companies constitute about 10% of all economic activities, employing 50% of all the workforce in Bydgoszcz. The region concentrates a large number of companies operating in the tools and plastics processing industry and is the most powerful toolmaking centre in Poland – known as the Tools Valley. It houses approximately 900 companies engaged in polymer materials processing and about 50 toolmakers.

The Bydgoszcz Industrial Cluster Tool Valley is the most dynamically operating unit of this type in Poland. The Bydgoszcz Cluster allowed Lenso to have an interesting cooperation and integration with the environment of processors and toolmakers from the plastics sector. Thanks to the dynamic organization of the Cluster, we can be closer to the industry we are interested in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship.

DOPAK's membership in the Bydgoszcz Industrial Cluster Tool Valley is one of the ways to achieve our mission, which is to be a supplier of machines and services at the highest level. Thanks to the Cluster, we are in constant contact with manufacturers of injection molds and plastics processors, and we also have easy access to the latest trends. Thanks to this knowledge, we can constantly enrich our offer with comprehensive solutions and products expected by customers. A big advantage is also access to the latest information in the area of subsidies and legislation. Numerous projects and joint initiatives, in which we participate together with other members of the cluster, consequently increase the competitiveness and recognition of our company. Together we can do more, which is why the presence in the cluster certainly also gives a greater opportunity to influence and take care of the interests of the plastics processing industry in Poland.
Membership in the Bydgoszcz Industrial Sector provides regular opportunities to interact with and understand new markets, customers, and more importantly, facilitates cooperation among companies within the local market. Additionally, the Cluster is a platform enabling the exchange of experience and ideas between entities from our processing and tool industry.
BIC membership gives our company the opportunity to get to know each other and cooperate with many enterprises from our industry. Our Cluster connects, among others, plastics processors, which gives us the opportunity to exchange experiences with companies that face similar issues as ours – we can inspire and learn from each other.
