Hungry EcoCities project is thrilled to unveil the commencement of its second Open Call, inviting European SMEs within the agri-food domain. This initiative is designed to delve into the fusion of technology and art, with a specific focus on tackling pressing concerns like food waste, nurturing sustainable food supply chains, and advocating for ethical consumption practices across the EU. Come join them in spearheading inventive solutions that merge creativity with technology, paving the way for a more sustainable future in the agri-food sector.
They are seeking applications from SMEs from the European agri-food sector to identify and select the most relevant test sites in the food and agriculture sectors, demonstrating a potential to experiment with digital technologies.
Selected applicants will receive:
- Equity-free funding of up to € 45,000
- Mentorship during a 14-month support programme
- Support from Europe’s leading universities in science and technology
- Artistic experimentation to generate innovative product/service ideas
- Access to digital project tools developed for Hungry EcoCities
- Access to Hungry EcoCities’ dedicated Knowledge Hubs
