FADO Group – over 30 years of experience in tooling and injection moulding industries. Since 2011 we have been developing selective laser melting technology for mould cooling optimisation as well as manufacturing of prototype and pre-production moulds.

We offer the following range of services:

Research & Development:

• design and simulation of cooling channels,
• moulding inserts with conformal cooling
channels,
• cooling verification on a thermovision test
Bench.
Toolshop:
• insert only moulds,
• prototype moulds (silicone, inserts printed in SLA, Objet technologies, casted, 3D printed
aluminum),
• pre-production moulds,
• conventional moulds,
• 3D scanning,
• reverse engineering,

Software used: Moldflow, Catia, Visi, Magics Materialise, WorkNC.

Injection moulding department:
• 34 injection moulding machines with clamping force up to 800 tonnes (both vertical and horizontal).

3D Printing:
• prototypes and short series of parts in DMLS technology (1.2709, 1.4404, AlSi10Mg),
• rapid prototyping in SLS, SLA, Polyjet and FDM technologies.

We offer cleaning stations for mould coolingchannels, adapted for cleaning conformal .cooling channels.
