District Labour Office counteracts unemployment by promoting employment in the city of Bydgoszcz through:
• obtaining and managing the means from Labour Fund, European Social Fund and Disabled Rehabilitation National Fund for activating
local labour market and entrepreneurship development,
• registration of unemployed paying benefits, rendering assistance in self-employment or finding job by vocation agency, guidance and information, aiding in active search for a job within confines of Labour Clubs,
• supporting employers in finding workers through agency and organizing subsidized forms of employment – probations, vocational
trainings, intervention works, public works, refitting and provision of work-stands, supported employment, organization of trainings needed by employers.
